The Journal of Islamic STEM Education (JISED), published by the Center for Human-Centered STEM Education Indonesia, is a peer-reviewed academic journal that disseminates scholarly information, innovative ideas, and research findings in the field of Islamic STEM education. The journal focuses on the integration of Islamic values, epistemology, ethics, and pedagogy with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education across formal, non-formal, and community-based educational settings.

JISED aims to serve as a leading international academic platform that advances scholarly discourse at the intersection of STEM education and Islamic intellectual traditions. The journal promotes high-quality, evidence-based research that explores how STEM education can be meaningfully connected with Islamic teachings to support holistic, ethical, reflective, and innovative learning environments. Through this focus, JISED seeks to strengthen the relationship between classical Islamic scholarly heritage and contemporary STEM education practices.

The journal publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and educational innovations related to Islamic science education, STEM learning models, mathematics and science education in Islamic institutions, technology-enhanced learning, scientific literacy, curriculum development, ethical dimensions of STEM education, and human-centered approaches in STEM learning. It encourages studies that offer empirical, theoretical, and practical contributions to the development of Islamic STEM education at national and international levels.

JISED is published three times per year, with issues released in January, May, and September. It provides an academic space for researchers, educators, scholars, and practitioners to share rigorous studies, contemporary perspectives, and innovative practices that contribute to the advancement of Islamic STEM education. By combining Islamic scholarly values with global STEM education discourse, JISED positions itself as a distinctive and relevant voice in the international academic community.
